Thoughts on tech and random things I find on the web
I was born in Kiev and have been living in Los Angeles for almost 25 years. I've been in IT pretty much since I was 13 and got my first computer. My specialties lie in the area of devops and web security, although I've pretty much done everything at one time or another.

This has potentially interesting uses and can be somewhat effective at covering your tracks. Nothing terribly groundbreaking, but in a convenient package.

This is doing it right. CIO establishes the culture, the processes are developed and the result is great. Small cross-functional teams that are able to deliver results and iterate quickly. This overlaps with a lot of devops concepts, like agility, breaking down silos, etc. It’s a great example how it can work well even when applied to enterprise IT.
This is an interesting interview with a creator of one of the best web servers out there. The original interview is in Russian and the translation (by google) is fairly difficult to read. I took a crack at writing a better translation and I think this might be a bit better.
